Cleveland, Ohio | Weekend Adventures | June 2016

I am blogging my first ever weekend wrap-up. I had so much fun that I couldn't keep it to myself. I drove up to Cleveland to have a girls weekend with my favorite cousin, Caitlin. We started out by getting all dolled up and going out to take some new headshots for each other. It turned into a full on session in three different locations: near the beach, a marina, and then downtown. After that we went to The Flats and walked around while we waited for a table at Coastal Taco. We ate dinner and had some drinks, both were awesome and then we went home and fell asleep. We got up bright and early and went paddle boarding down the Rocky River. It was my first time ever on a paddle board and I didn't fall off, yay! It started raining on us near the end but it didn't stop us from having a good time. After going back to the house and changing, we went to the West Side Market, bought some fresh fruit and some fudge and sat in a little park while we waited for our table at the Town Hall restaurant. I had my first ever crepe, which was pretty good, I would get one again. By then, we were tired. We decided to go rent a movie and go back to her house to hang out. Since we are both photographers and have a bunch of photos to edit, we did that together as we watched the movie. We both felt so inspired having another creative to work with. The last adventure that we went on was rollerblading, my first time in about 9 years. I surprisingly did not fall while doing that either, although I had a few close calls, I stayed upright. It was definitely more of a work out than I remember. Then I packed up my stuff and drove back home. I can't wait to have another girls weekend with her when we can!
