Melissa called me and said she wanted pictures taken with their 4-H animals since their local fair is cancelled, she didn’t want the girls hard work to go unnoticed. This was my first time photographing pigs and chickens. The chicken was easy, the pigs were a different story. They were running all over the place and being hard to handle, but we did the best we could!
We then took some family photos around their property and went down the street to a bike trail that had gorgeous lighting! When we got back to the house, she said, “One more!” as she ran inside to get a sign. She came back out and I was immediately so surprised and happy for them! The Mobley’s haven’t had family pictures taken together since the kids were very young. Now, they are all graduated from high school! They thought, what better time do it than now?! Dad growing a “Fu ManChu” mustache and two of the girls recently chopped off their long locks because they were bored in quarantine. It’s been a weird year, hasn’t it? Now they will have a canvas hanging over their fireplace to always remember this crazy time!

Read MoreI drove up to Cleveland specifically for this session. It ended up being rainy and cold but we made it work! We were under the shelter building at Edgewater Park Beach. The kids kept putting on their jackets in between photos. I think the photos turned out great even with the unfortunate weather. I love this family!
